Kingsthorpe Golf Club welcomes formal golf societies and corporate events throughout the year and we offer attractive packages that meet the most demanding requirements. We provide an excellent days golf on a quality course backed up by high quality catering and friendly organisation and support.

Once the booking is confirmed, full payment must be paid on arrival and final numbers must be confirmed to Kingsthorpe Golf Club no later than 7 days prior to the event date. If numbers are reduced later than 3 days prior to the event, it may be necessary to charge for meals and tee-times not taken. Further T&Cs apply.

Winter wheels policy: Please note that from November 1st winter wheels are required on both push/pull and electric trolleys. We do have a small number of electric and push trolleys available for hire. We usually start allowing summer wheels from mid-April, but this is subject to current conditions. From time to time, if conditions make it necessary, then all types of trolleys may be banned from the course. If in doubt, please call the Pro Shop before leaving for the course.

Club Sections

The club has a vibrant and enthusiastic group of sections as detailed below. In addition to all the specified events the members organise regular ‘roll ups ‘. These occur on weekends and on most weekdays and times vary. So there is normally something available for everyone. New members are most welcome and these occasions are an excellent means to get to know other members.

GENTS SECTION

Full 7-day members have access to the course at any time, and Saturday’s and Sunday mornings are very well supported. Most formal gents competitions are held on a Saturday with a starter sheet in operation. When there are no formal competitions, the members stage their own matches which are highly competitive affairs. Usually followed by the odd beer in the bar afterwards.

The men’s section always have representation in all County Team Competitions and have a good track record in these events.

LADIES SECTION

Our Ladies provide a very active section with regular competitions, matches and events. The majority of major club competitions are held on a Wednesday.

SENIOR GENTS

A vibrant group that play on Tuesday and Thursday mornings on a roll up basis. The section holds regular qualifying competitions during the year and have an active inter-county club competition programme.

JUNIORS SECTION

A major focus of Kingsthorpe Golf Club. Our juniors section is very well supported and receive very special focus. Our junior members regularly represent the Northants County juniors team and perform exceptionally well in county competitions.
