Kingsthorpe Golf Club has a golf membership category to suit the requirements and budget of all aspiring golfers and there is NO JOINING FEE at present. Membership runs on an annual basis from when you join, although our monthly payment scheme allows you to spread payments. The club is particularly keen to promote junior golf offer graduated fees that ensure that our younger members do not have to pay full subscriptions until they reach the age of 26. We even have a scheme for players from other areas attending Northampton University.
Ladies enjoy full rights at Kingsthorpe; most Ladies Competitions are played on Wednesdays, with alternate day arrangements for those only able to play at weekends. Senior Men's Competitions are generally played on Tuesday mornings, and Senior Ladies' on Monday mornings. The club also offers a Bronze Membership* scheme for those whose time limitations prevent them from playing regular golf. This gives them unlimited access to the course Mon – Fri plus Sunday afternoons for £220 plus an additional £12 each time they play. Bronze members can play in Club competitions during those times and hold an Official CONGU Handicap.
The club membership figures are very healthy at present reflecting the popularity of the course, the ability to play golf all year round and now with the wonderful off course facilities to match. This being a members' owned club there is no need to book start times.

Prospective members will normally need two current members to propose and second their application. They will then go through an interview process mainly to inform them about what golf at Kingsthorpe is about and to allow them to ask any questions. Don't be deterred from speaking to the Secretary if you don't have a proposer.

Young Adults
Kingsthorpe is keen to recruit and retain its young adult members and offers this special category to cushion the passage to full adult membership, without any loss of playing or voting rights.
